SUMMARY:July 4th Hometown Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 25th annual July 4th Hometown Celebration. The celebration includes kids’ rides\, dancing\, food\, crafts\, a boat parade\, and a great fireworks display. Music by Justin Cornett Band! \nThe event will be held rain or shine — we’re under cover. \n\n\n\n1PM-5PM\nPlaquemine Lock State Historic Site open for tours.\n\n\n5PM-9PM\nMusic & Dancing\, FREE Kids’ Rides & Games\, Food\, and over 40 Craft booths.\n\n\n5:30PM\nBoat Parade honoring Veterans departs from the boat landing on Bayou Plaquemine across from Iberville Parish Jail. To enter the boat parade have a boat in the water at 5 pm. There is no fee to enter the boat parade\, and patriotic boat decorations are encouraged.\n\n\n6PM\nVeterans Ceremony\n\n\n9PM\nIncredible Fireworks Display — patriotic music by Plaquemine Council 970 Corp.
